Convention Gathers Community Bankers at the DECC

DULUTH, Minn. — Community bankers from across the state become on Tuesday at the DECC.

It’s part of the BankIn Minnesota Convention. The goal is to have a collective voice among community bankers to better engage lawmakers at the State Capitol among the others.

“They are run independently with their local communities. They participate within their communities, a lot of them volunteer and make donations in their communities. And, you know when they pay their tazes, they all go back within those communities as well,” said Karina Wiatros, VP, Director of Marketing and Communications.

Local business Bailey Builds was also there to put on a wood shop for everybody.
