Adoptable Cats and Yoga Mats at Wired Whisker

DULUTH, Minn. — Heads up to friends of felines! There’s a new way to get to know your new cat.

It might sound like a big stretch, but at 7 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays the Wired Whisker in Duluth invites you to cat yoga. All of the cats are up for adoption, and the owner says it’s just as much fun for the furry friends, as it is for the people.

“Ultimately, we’re serving as an extension to those rescues freeing up shelter space, and then giving a new kind of space for people in packs to hang out and get to know each other in those environments,” said Misha Smith, owner of Wired Whisker.

Cat yoga sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $20 to attend. The owner told Fox 21 that they are looking into adding more weekly sessions. Wired Whisker is open Tuesday through Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
