Hibbing Public Library Hosts End of Summer Party
HIBBING, Minn. — The Hibbing Public Library is celebrating books and the summer season.
The library hosts an end of summer picnic every year. There are bounce houses, face painting, carnival games and food. Kids also get to take a few books home.
It is a free event to bring community members together. The library hopes people see that it is more than just books and reading.
“We love big events; we love celebrating with people. We love just our staff that likes to be a part of everything, and we love seeing kids and families come together. People of all ages,” said Jill Reini, Hibbing Library Director.
The Hibbing Public Library likes to think of the event as a last hurrah before school starts.
