Man Airlifted from Tettegouche Sunday Afternoon
LAKE COUNTY, Minn. — A 70-year-old man was airlifted from Tettegouche State Park after falling down the steps at the High Falls. This happened Sunday afternoon, around 12:25 p.m.
Park Rangers, Lake County Ambulance and Lake County Rescue arrived to the scene around 1 p.m. The man was bleeding from his head. A nurse on scene reported that the patient had multiple cuts, but was in stable condition.
Around 1:38 p.m., Lifelink was requested to airlift the patient away from the scene. By 2:56 p.m. Lifelink had the patient loaded and in the air for transport.
Lake County Rescue, Lake County Ambulance, Silver Bay Police Department, Silver Bay Fire Department, Tettegouche State Park RangerĀ and Lifelink assisted the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
