Justin Richards Heading Overseas to Continue Pro Career in Germany

DULUTH, Minn.- Nick Swaney wasn’t the only former Bulldog to put pen to paper recently.
On Tuesday, former center Justin Richards joined Dusseldorfer EG of the German Hockey League.
It’s Richards first stint overseas as he played in the Rangers, Blue Jackets and Sabres organizations for the past four seasons.
He was most recently with the Rochester Americans of the AHL. In 63 games, Richards had seven goals and nine assists.
Goaltender Alex Stalock is the lone remaining former Bulldog that is still a free agent.
