Scenic 61 Gearing Up for Minnesota State Fair

DULUTH, Minn. — A local favorite food trailer is heading to the Minnesota State Fair along with some exclusive treats.

Scenic 61 by New Scenic Cafe will be serving eclairs in two varieties, lobster roll and Bahn Mi. you can find them on Machinery Hill throughout the fair. Owners say this is not their first rodeo, and they applied knowledge from past trips to come up with these one-of-a-kind items.

“I think a lot of people go to the State Fair to sample foods but not necessarily to fill up on an single one. So, bringing our food back down to a portion that fits that sample quality rather than trying to fill somebody like you do at a restaurant,” said Scott Graden, owner of New Scenic Cafe & Scenic 61.

These special menu items are available at the fair only, not at the cafe. Fox 21 employees sampled the dishes, describing them as crunchy, airy, and delicious. The Minnesota State Fair begins August 22 and ends September 2.
