Late Rally Not Enough as Huskies Drop Game One of Playoffs to Loggers
The series shifts to Duluth on Monday with first pitch at 6:35 PM.
LA CROSSE, Wis.- The Duluth Huskies opened up postseason play on Sunday.
Unfortunately, the team trailed the whole contest, falling 12 to 6 to the La Crosse Loggers.
After going down 11-1 in the 5th, Duluth put up two runs in the 7th and three runs in the 8th, but that’s as close as they would get.
Jake Downing went two for four with two runs batted in to lead the Huskies.
