Bloody Mary Bash for A Good Cause

DULUTH, Minn. — Blood was pumping as competition married consumption for a good cause at a Bloody Mary Bash on Sunday.

These tangy treats brought in a crowd to raise money for ALS. Thirsty patrons attended Skyline Social Club to raise awareness for a cause near and dear to many people while also trying beers, bloodies, and bowling.

“It’s just a great opportunity, a lot of people like to try different Bloody Mary’s. It’s a great way to try out a bunch of different restaurants at once,” said Corey Kolquist, President of Skyline Social and Games.

This event is a hit. Last year, they were able to meet their goal of $24,000 and look to raise the stakes in the years to come.

“We raised $24,000 last year, we’re trying to do a little more this year, so keep coming, trying to raise money for a great cause, so hopefully if you’re not here, we’ll see you next year,” said Bert, the owner of The Social House.

Town Square Media also a partner of the event is home to radio stations like Mix 108 and Kool 101.7.
