UMD Football to Enter Season Ranked #17 in AFCA D2 Coaches Poll

The Bulldogs are one of four NSIC teams in the top 25, joining Augustana, Minnesota State-Mankato and Bemidji State.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD football team learned their AFCA Division two ranking heading into the season on Monday.

The Bulldogs come in ranked at number 17, the highest preseason ranking they’ve had since the 2021 season.

UMD finished their 2023 campaign slotted as the 25th team in the country.

The Bulldogs are one of four NSIC teams in the top 25, joining Augustana, Minnesota State-Mankato and Bemidji State.

UMD kicks off their season on August 29th at Northern Michigan.
