Castle Danger’s 13th Anniversary Party on Saturday

The celebration goes from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

TWO HARBORS, Minn. — One of the North Shore’s premier breweries is getting ready to celebrate its 13th anniversary this weekend and you’re invited.

We’re talking about Castle Danger Brewery in Two Harbors, one of the largest breweries in the state. The celebration is happening Saturday with live music, food trucks, and of course craft beer. That includes five special celebratory beer infusions.

“The beers are a huge highlight obviously. We have a lot of fun creating unique delicious beers already, but anniversary beers are special. Our lead brewer is very passionate about making unique offerings for these. Combining different flavors and spices. I’m particularly looking forward to the Habanero Pineapple Haze, like that one’s gonna be pretty special. And the Lagerita, which is our lager turned into a margarita. they’re aging it on tequila infused oak spirals and they’re also putting some lemon lime hop derived special kinda extract in there,” said Tina Hegg Raway, Controller at Castle Danger.

The special brews are only available at the event Saturday as the crew at Castle Danger want to make the 13-year milestone a memorable one for the community.

“So, we’re not only a part of the North Shore community but also a part of the craft beer community as well. So, to see those two things kinda come together and to be around for 13 years is a very special thing in this industry. There’s not a lot of breweries that can say that. So, for us to have been here for this long and to have grown to be the 4th largest in the state. It’s super cool so to be able to celebrate that with everybody and both those communities is a pretty amazing feeling,” said Lacey Fischer, Events and Marketing Coordinator, Castle Danger Brewery.

Saturday’s party is free to attend. The taproom opens at 11 in in the morning. Live music starts at 1 p.m.
