Celebration for UMD Hockey Legend Mike Sertich Announced

The legendary UMD head hockey coach passed away last week after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

DULUTH, Minn.- A celebration for Mike Sertich has been announced for next month.

The legendary UMD head hockey coach passed away last week after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

A visitiation and service is set for September 13th at the DECC.

The visitiation will go from 12 to 2 pm and the service will begin at 2 PM.

Sertich led the Bulldogs from 1982 to 2000, guiding the team to four NCAA tournament berths.
