Hermantown’s A.J. Francisco to Play College Hockey at Notre Dame

Just this past season, the defenseman and forward tallied 13 goals and 17 assists.

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- Hermantown’s A.J. Francisco is set to play for Notre Dame beginning in the 2026-2027 season.

Just this past season, the defenseman and forward tallied 13 goals and 17 assists in his only year on the Hawks varsity team.

This upcoming winter, Francisco is set to skate for the U.S. National Under-17 Team, joining fellow Hermantown native Victor Plante and Superior’s Jackson Marthaler.

He can officially sign with the Fighting Irish in November of 2025.
