Teeb Con Takes Over The DECC
DULUTH, Minn. — The DECC hosted a magical event this weekend.
Teeb Con, is a convention that brought magic and whimsy to the Northland. Vendors, cosplayers, and artists got to enjoy everything from trading cards to table-top gaming. This event was a special one for the Northland being the first pop-culture expo catering to the geeks and nerds of the community.
“Teeb Con is, I think, very important to the community, because we’re up here in the Northland, there’s not a whole lot of nerdy comic book, anime, just we don’t have any cons near here,” said Matthew Johnson, Artist/Teeb Con Volunteer. “This has become very important to me because of it just growing the community of nerds and geeks.”
MNSWCA is sponsoring the convention. They also work with other fan groups across the country to assist in raising mental health awareness. To learn more about Teeb Con, please visit their website.
