Cloquet Labor Day Car Show

CLOQUET, Minn.– For some people, celebrating Labor Day can be a little more mechanical.

Self-proclaimed “motor heads” flocked to Cloquet to see all 90 cars at the show. They’re showcasing cars from different eras, or simply displaying their latest project.
Officials say it’s always a great time to get together and check out the collection of cars! Some of the collectors in attendance were not who you would expect!

“We actually have a slingshot dragster over here. And it belongs to a ten-year-old girl. That along with her parents that have other cars, but I’m sure she’s going to be a strong contender number 49 for the peoples’ choice.” explained car show organizer Bert Whittington.

The car enthusiasts say year after year, this show is the best way to close out the summer season!
