SUPERIOR, Wis.- After losing their season opener, the UW-Superior women’s soccer team has earned their first win of the season in a 2-1 nailbiter over UW-River Falls.

After giving up a goal in the final seconds of the first half, UWS scored two goals in the second half, including the go-ahead score by Brynn Crystal with less than eight minutes remaining.

The Yellowjackets’ homestand continues on Wednesday when they host St. Scholastica at 7:30 p.m.
