St. Scholastica Women Can’t Keep Up With Nationally-Ranked La Crosse
Saints give up seven goals
DULUTH, Minn.- The St. Scholastica women’s soccer team were outplayed by the seventh-ranked UW La Crosse Eagles, falling 7-1 on Sunday at Kenny Harkins Field.
The Saints’ lone goal was scored by Mariah Hernesman off an assist from Kaitlyn Sautter. Goalkeeper Gracie Meagher recorded nine saves while facing La Crosse’s scoring onslaught.
St. Scholastica will cross the bridge on Wednesday to face UW-Superior at NBC Sports Complex at 7:30 p.m.
