Eveleth Hells Angels Clubhouse Shooting: Suspect Charged

Suspect charged for shooting at Hells Angels clubhouse in Eveleth

Adrien Gunderson

DULUTH, Minn.– A woman is facing felony charges in connection to a shooting outside of the Hells Angels’ clubhouse in Eveleth, MN, according to court documents.

Adrien Marie Gunderson, 39, of Forbes, MN is charged with ‘Drive by Shooting Toward Occupied Building’ and unlawful possession of a firearm. The charges stem from an early morning shooting on Labor Day, which took place outside of the Hells Angels’ clubhouse in Eveleth.

According to the probable cause, officers responded to reports of a female who shot into the clubhouse entrance at around 6:17 AM on Monday. Members inside the clubhouse told police that, prior to the shooting, a female had knocked on the door but was told to leave. A member shut the door, and then reported hearing “loud banging noises.”

Officers located fourteen 9mm casings on the street and sidewalk in front of the clubhouse. Officers also located apparent bullet holes on the clubhouse’s front door, and damage to the front entryway.

City cameras also allegedly capture the suspect, exiting a Jeep Commander, and walking up to the clubhouse door and firing a gun, at the time alleged. Officers used the license plate to contact the registered owner of the vehicle, and eventually locate the suspect’s residence. They located the vehicle at the residence and apprehended the suspect as she exited the house.

Gunderson allegedly made comments stating that she “hate(s) the Hells Angels right now,” when apprehended by officers. A search of her room located a 9mm handgun, magazines, and ammunition. She is scheduled back in court on Sept. 9 and is facing up to 35 years in prison.
