Lumberjacks Win Sixth Straight, Score Six Against Bluejackets

CLOQUET, Minn- The Cloquet/Carlton girls soccer team wasted no time finding the back of the net in Monday’s 6-0 win over Hibbing/Chisholm.

The Lumberjacks scored three goals in a span of 10 minutes, including the game’s first goal less than 30 seconds after the opening whistle. Freshman Aubrey Pavlatos, who entered the game with one goal on the season, scored the first two goals of the game. She would later go on to score a third goal in the second half for the hat trick.

Cloquet/Carlton has now won their sixth straight game and are now 7-1 on the season. Meanwhile, Hibbing/Chisholm drops to 0-5 with their next game set for Thursday against Duluth Denfeld.
