Trillium Services Inc. Celebrates Employees During DSP Appreciation Week
Direct Support Professional Recognition Week in the state of Minnesota
DULUTH, Minn.– This week is Direct Support Professional Recognition Week in the state of Minnesota. Trillium Services, a disability service provider, hosted their annual appreciation event for their DSP employees. People could enjoy food from the Rambler food truck and had an opportunity to win raffle prizes that were donated by local businesses.
“This is a really important job. Just like any other job in the United States. Right now there is a staffing shortage and that’s a pretty scary notion to face especially when we are serving our communities’ most vulnerable people there is not enough of us to go around to provide those services. This is away to again appreciate are staff,” said Michael Molitor, program director at Trillium Services Inc.
