Our Summery Week Continues

In most areas of life, high pressure is not a good thing. But in the world of weather, it’s often nice to have it around for a while! In our case, a big area of high pressure is continuing to provide us with sunny skies, light winds, and warm temperatures. Not much to complain about there. It won’t last forever, but it’s nice to have around while we enjoy the last 12 days of summer!

Our current situation seems inclined to stay this way at least into the end of the workweek, and largely through the upcoming weekend, too. While there is a chance for some rain on Saturday, the percentage chance for rain is so small, that I hesitate to even talk about it at this time. Things in weather can change quickly, so there’s always the chance that with the next computer run, the chance of rain for this weekend will jump way up. But, right now, it sure doesn’t seem likely. So, continue to enjoy sunshine and above normal high temps in the mid to upper 70s for the next several days. We might even hit 80 on Wednesday. Our lows will stay in the mid to upper 50s, which is also quite mild, as the normal low for today is 49 degrees.

We will enjoy this ride for as long as it lasts, because when the next big change comes, I think it will include getting that warm fall jacket out of the closet. But, not today!
