Denfeld High Security Lockdown Lifted After Disturbance

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth Police responded to a disturbance call near Denfeld High School Wednesday morning, which initially triggered a security lockdown that has now been lifted.

Duluth Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Grand Avenue following reports of an armed individual, according to a press release, prompting the SECURE protocol at Denfeld High School.

After investigating, authorities determined the situation was a disturbance rather than a threat.

The SECURE protocol has since been lifted.
