Wednesday Morning Northland Forecast: 9/11/2024
Another Great September Day
This has been the easiest week to forecast! With high pressure basically dominating the middle part of the country, each day has been incredibly similar to both the day before it, and the day after it. We call that Persistence Forecasting, where conditions basically stay the same, until something dramatic moves in, to shake things up.
So, our stretch of fabulous weather will continue for several more days. Our normal high for today is 69, and we will be well above that, with a high around 82 degrees. We had some morning fog today, and we will again tomorrow, as temps dropped down to the dewpoints overnight. Winds out of the southwest will continue to bring us balmy temperatures, and there isn’t any rain in sight til at least Saturday. And, at this point, that chance of rain is only about 20%. It looks like there will be a better chance for rain the middle of next week.
Enjoy another day in the warmth and sunshine. Once this weather goes away, it might be 6 months til it returns!
