Creative Minds Showcase Items in Fruit, Flower, & Vegetable Show
DULUTH, Minn. — An environmental school in Duluth hosted an event to showcase its creative minds.
The annual Fruit, Flower, & Vegetable Show has been a tradition at Stowe Elementary School for over 60 years now. It is a county fair style exhibit where students and staff can bring decorated items and put them on display. Stowe PTA helps put on the event and makes ribbons for participants to win. This event also celebrates the growing season in Northern Minnesota.
“It is so fun to see all the creativity these students display. Not only do we have huge vegetables, we have really creative displays of fruit being turned into dinosaurs or caterpillars and it’s just it’s really fun,” said Kallie Riker, Secretary at Stowe Elementary School.
Community members are welcome to stop by and view all of the fun creations at the end of the school day.
