Friday Morning Northland Forecast: 9/13/2024
Foggy Friday
What has been a fantastic weather week is definitely ending with kind of a thud. East winds off Lake Superior have helped to produce thick fog near the lake, and even thicker fog up over the hill. With cloud cover holding things in place, it looks like it’s going to be a Foggy Friday for a few hours. Winds and sunshine should help burn off some of the fog by the noon hour, and then we should see some increasing blue skies this afternoon.
It continues to be mild, as the normal high for today is 69, and we are eventually looking for a high of 75 today. Tomorrow will see more clouds than sun, with a 40% chance for light rain, and a high about 75 as well. We are only looking for about .10″ of rain on Saturday, and that should not spoil your outdoor plans for the day. Sunday looks like the sunnier day of the weekend, and warmer too, with a high of 79. Monday begins the last week of the astronomical summer, and it looks excellent, with highs in the mid 70s to 80 degrees all week, and generally dry conditions. There is a 30% chance for rain on Monday, but that looks pretty minor at this point.
Have a wonderful weather weekend!
