Participants Gather At Expo Ahead of 2024 NorthShore Inline Marathon

DULUTH, Minn. — People were rolling into the DECC on Friday ahead of a big race in Duluth.

The 2024 NorthShore expo is part of the NorthShore Inline Marathon. Racers were able to pick up their race packets, check out some of the vendors, and get the chance to meet people from all over who come to participate in this event.

The expo is also a great place to buy any last-minute gear needed.

“It’s really important because I don’t know what the weather conditions are. I can come here, get the wheels I need, get the bearings I need. And be all set up for tomorrow in one spot so,” said Sarah Hopkins, marathon participant from Calgary.

This is North America’s largest inline marathon. The racing begins Saturday morning. Over 2,000 skaters are participating.
