UWS Men’s and Women’s Soccer Dominate in UMAC Conference Opener

The Yellowjackets opened up conference play on Wednesday by hosting North Central in a double header.

Superior, Wis.– The Yellowjackets opened up conference play Wednesday hosting North Central (Minn.).

The women’s team kicked off the night with a 10-0 win over the Rams.

Leading the way for the Yellowjackets was senior forward Niya Wilson, who scored three goals on the night.

The UWS women currently has an overall record of 3-4.

As for the men’s team, they defeated North Central (Minn.) by a score of 8-0.

The leading scorer for the Yellowjackets was junior forward Freddy Watson.

With Wednesday’s win, the Yellowjackets improve to 2-2-2.

Both teams will play at Minnesota Morris on Saturday, Sep. 21 at 2 P.M.
