Funnel Clouds, Tornadoes Reported In St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Minn. — St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay said a tornado touched down Thursday evening on Bug Creek Road just east of Cotton.   That’s where trees snapped and some minor damage to a homeowner’s shed, according to the sheriff.

FOX 21 viewers sent in pictures and videos (click the video above) of potential tornadoes and funnel clouds along Highway 53 between Cotton and Canyon.

The National Weather Service in Duluth will be surveying the damage to officially determine where tornadoes formed, what wind speed and how long on the ground.
