Bienvenue Coffee Festival Will Return to The St. Louis County Depot on Saturday
DULUTH, Minn. — Saturday, September 21, The Bienvenue Coffee Festival will be back at the St. Louis County Depot for its fourth year.
The coffee fest serves as an unique way to welcome the community into the Depot.
Local coffee shops will be brewing and serving specialty drinks. There will also be plenty of coffee related activities, such as a latte art competition, a barista panel and drink making demonstrations.
Festival organizers say the event has grown bigger each year.
“We’re doing ‘cupping demonstrations,’ that’s kind of like wine tasting for coffee drinkers. We did it once last year, and it was so successful that they had to turn people away.” said Mary Tennis, St. Louis County Depot & Extension Services Director. “So, we’ve added another cupping, so there is two cupping demonstrations happening tomorrow as well.”
The fun doesn’t stop at sweet drinks and treats, there will also be activities for kids, which doesn’t involved coffee drinking.
A local café, Wired Whisker, will even be bringing along some adoptable kittens to the festival.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
