Former Bulldog Luke Loheit Joins Kansas City Mavericks of ECHL

In his final season at UMD, Loheit posted career-highs in goals and assists with 10 each.

DULUTH, Minn.- Former Bulldog Luke Loheit has landed on his feet after being released from a tryout contract with the Wild the other day.

Loheit has joined the Kansas City Mavericks, who are the ECHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken.

This will be Loheit’s first pro team as he just wrapped up his five-year career with the Bulldogs this past winter.

In his final season, Loheit posted career-highs in goals and assists with 10 each.

He also was the captain of the team.
