Tuesday Morning Northland Forecast: 9/24/2024

Sunny Tuesday

It’s raining in southern Ontario. It’s raining in central Iowa. It’s raining in Chicago. It’s raining all around us today. But we remain quite dry. We are between 2.5 and 3.0 inches below where we should be for the month of September. And, I don’t see any rain in the forecast to cut into that deficit in the next week. Except for that, we have some really nice weather coming our way for the rest of the week (and the month).

A weak cool front is passing over Minnesota today, from west to east. But, it’s going to wash out before it even reaches Wisconsin. So, that won’t bring us any rain, and it also won’t cool things down, either. High pressure will bring us sunshine and highs in the mid 60’s today. Tomorrow, we will continue to enjoy blue skies, and our highs will reach into the mid 70’s, which is where they will remain through Sunday. It is indeed a nice stretch of weather for the first week of autumn. If you have outdoor chores you want to get done before the weather turns cool (and potentially snowy), this is the perfect time to get them done! The normal high for today is 64, so this is definitely a nice, warm treat before fall really takes hold.

Have a great Tuesday, and do something either fun or productive outside today!
