UMD Hosts ‘Bulldog Bonanza’
DULUTH, Minn.– UMD has been keeping busy by hosting fun events all week.
Homecoming is all about celebrating the infamous football game and bringing together both new and returning students.
On Friday, UMD hosted Bulldog Bonanza, and featured several food trucks at Ordean Court.
In addition, they also had an inflatable obstacle course to drum up friendly competition.
This year though, they’re excited to bring back some classics.
“I would say bringing back old traditions. We brought back cardboard boat races; we’re really trying to bring campus community together. And really get at what the heart of UMD believes in, and who we are! That’s our main goal of Kirby student center. We try to bring campus together. And this week we’ve seen that in a lot of our other events. And this event too,” said Maddie Gaudette, Traditions Chair of the Kirby Program Board.
Earlier this week UMD celebrated homecoming by having other events such as Merchandise Monday and Top the Tater Tuesday!
