New Golf Simulator Venue to Open in Fitger’s Building

DULUTH, Minn. — A new bar in town is teeing up a unique experience, combining cold drinks with golf simulators.

Club One Under will hold its grand opening this Sunday, September 29.

The family owned venue houses five cutting-edge golf simulators, along with a bar and multiple tv’s.

People can enjoy signature cocktails while perfecting their golf swing.

The owners of venue say Duluth is the perfect spot for Club One Under, as winter hinders outdoor play.

“We figured with the weather patterns in Duluth, Superior, the frozen tundra, this would be a great opportunity to keep people entertained and play golf and other games during the eight months of our cold weather,” said owner Mike Locker.

The simulators aren’t just for golf, other games are also available to test out, such as football, soccer and hockey.

“We wanted simulators that could include everyone,” said Derek Locker. “You know, from your family, from kids, to different games and do different things on the sims. So we wanted to build this business model around golfers, serious golfers with leagues and tournaments and then having fun and coming down here for birthday parties.”

Club One Under is located on the ground level of the Fitger’s Building.

Along with leagues and parties, the simulators can be booked hourly.
