DULUTH, Minn.- Prep football teams are inching closer to section tournament play as Friday signaled week six in Minnesota.
Duluth Denfeld bounced back after their first loss last week to take down Cloquet 38 to 22.
The Hunters improve to 5-1 and will next play at Rock Ridge.
As for Cloquet (2-4), they’ll return home to host Grand Rapids.
In Hermantown, the Hawks continued their dominance with a home victory over Duluth East, 56-12.
Hermantown is now 5-1 and will play at Esko on Thursday.
Speaking of Esko, they celebrated homecoming with their 3rd win of the season over Hibbing, 35-0.
Hibbing (2-4) is back on their homefield Friday to play Mora.
Finally in Proctor, the Rails are still in search of their first win after falling to Pine City 20-0.
The Rails (0-6) will host Pequot Lakes on Friday.
