USCHO Polls: UMD Women’s Hockey Stay at #3, Men Fall Out of Top 20, Shaugabay Earns Rookie Honors
The UMD women are at Wisconsin Friday. Meanwhile, the men's team is at Massachusetts Lowell.
DULUTH, Minn.- The weekly USCHO polls were released on Monday morning.
After splitting with 7th ranked Colgate, the UMD women’s hockey team stays put at number three in the country.
The Bulldogs continue their road trip with a weekend series against Wisconsin this Friday.
Meanwhile, the men’s team has dropped out of the top 20 after losing a close one to Bemidji State, 4 to 3 on Saturday night.
The Bulldogs bounced back Sunday with an exhibition win against Manitoba, 7 to 2.
In other Bulldog men’s hockey news, freshman forward Jayson Shaugabay has been named NCHC Rookie of the Week.
He tallied two goals and one assist in his college debut.
UMD is at Massachusetts Lowell this Friday.
