UWS Men’s and Women’s Soccer Victorious on Grand Opening of New SCCU Stadium

UW-Superior Soccer held their first two games at the new on-campus stadium. 

SUPERIOR, Wis.- On Saturday, UW-Superior Soccer held its first two games at the new on-campus stadium.

For the men’s team, they took down Minnesota Morris 8-1 to earn their first UMAC win at SCCU stadium.

Jake Kidd led the way for the Jackets with two goals.

UWS will be on the road for their next game as they take on Gustavus Adolphus on Sunday, October 13th.

In the second game of the soccer doubleheader, the women’s team shut out Minnesota Morris 8-0.

Leading the way for the Yellowjackets was Niya Wilson with three goals. Earning a hat trick in her first game at SCCU stadium.

UWS will be back at home on October 16th, where they will face Northwestern.
