Boys Soccer: C-E-C & Duluth Marshall Regain Section Crowns to Head Back to State
C-E-C is set for their 4th straight state tournament. Meanwhile, Marshall is heading to their 2nd straight tourney.
CLOQUET, Minn.- The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys soccer team is once again state bound.
On Tuesday, the Lumberjacks defeated the Hermantown Hawks 3 to 2, after outscoring them in penalty kicks in the Section 7AA title game.
This is the 4th straight year C-E-C has taken the section crown.
In 7A, the Duluth Marshall boys are heading back to state.
The Hilltoppers handed Legacy Christian Academy their first loss of the season in the title game, winning 1-0 in penalty kicks.
Marshall has now won the section title for the 2nd straight season.
The state tournament matchups will be announced over the weekend.
