Tuesday Morning Northland Forecast: 10/15/2024
Another Chilly Morning
We are getting a taste of fall these last couple days. Lots of area towns are starting their days with temps in the 20s, and it finally feels like summer is actually over. It was quite windy most of yesterday, which put a chill in the air, but today, the winds will be much lighter, as high pressure has settled in over the region. We will still have a below average high in the upper 40s, but it will feel warmer, with the lighter winds.
Tomorrow, we start a nice warmup, as highs will be in the 50s on Wednesday, and up into the 60s for Thursday thru the weekend. The wind will also return, along with the warmer air. We will have very strong winds out of the south, Wednesday thru Friday, with gusts up to 30mph. It will be noticeable, and kind of annoying. Watch your car door when you open it in a tight parking lot. You know what I mean, when you’re up over the hill, in Hermantown. You hate to let your door whip open, and put a big dent in the vehicle next to you!
Our next chance for rain will be on Saturday. It’s just a 30% chance at this point, so I’m not too fired up about that, at this point. Sunday will return to very nice conditions, as we will have mostly sunny skies, southwest winds 10-15, with a high in the upper 60s. So, bundle up today, and the next several days will be quite comfortable!
