Duluth Police Participate in Red Ribbon Campaign
DULUTH, Minn. — The Duluth Police Department is highlighting the importance of a drug-free community this week.
The Red Ribbon Campaign is in partnership with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. It honors Enrique ‘Kiki’ Camarena, a DEA special Agent who was killed by drug traffickers in 1985. Duluth squad cars will have red magnets on them for the week.
This is in hopes to promote a drug-free lifestyle and remind those who are suffering that there are resources out there for them.
