DECC Holds 20th Annual ‘Senior Go Show’

DULUTH, Minn.– The 20th annual ‘Senior Go Show’ was back at the DECC today.

Around 100 experts on life and retirement gave seniors 55 and older a fun day to engage with each other.

They got to learn about all types of resources and products catered toward their age group.

There was also a spot to get flu and COVID shots.

The Senior Go Show is a product of Lundeen Productions.

“It’s important a, to get the seniors out and to have fun interacting with people, and that’s cool. But it’s also good, there’s 100 exhibitors here, so they get to interact with the attendees. Which will be 1,500 to 2,000 people,” said Tracy Lundeen, creator of the event.

Former Proctor Mayor Dave Brenna made at stop at the show today.

He said this one-stop-shop of resources makes a life easier.

“Well, when I tried to put my mom in a nursing home, you’d spend a whole day calling people trying to find availability. Now you come down here, and most of them are here,” said Senior Go Show attendee David Brenna.

Other vendors included more than medical.

Vendors covered topics from travel to outdoor living and even live music to enjoy.
