Tuesday Morning Northland Forecast: 10/22/2024
Last Warm Day
The average high temp for today is 50 degrees. We enjoyed a high of 70 yesterday, with abundant sunshine. We will still be warm again today, with a high of 69, but it will be mostly cloudy, with chances for rain both this morning and this afternoon. With mostly cloudy skies, it will also be a blustery day, with SW winds 15-25mph. Those winds will shift to the west later today, and to the NW at 30mph overnight, as much cooler air comes plowing in from Canada. Our overnight low will be 35 degrees, and our high on Wednesday will be a chilly, windblown 47. Imagine that, below normal temps. How rare!
High pressure takes control on Wednesday, but with NW winds 10-20mph, and a high of only 47, it will be a chilly and raw day. On Thursday, our next chance for rain arrives, along with warmer temps. Our high on Thursday will get back up to 57 degrees, helped by strong southerly winds, 10-20mph. We are not expecting heavy amounts of precipitation on Tuesday or Thursday, but any rain will be helpful right now, as we have been very dry since July. Friday through Monday look mainly dry and sunny, with high temps in the 50s and low temps in the 30s, which is right where we should be this time of year.
So, I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s high of 70. I don’t see that coming around again anytime soon. Have a great Tuesday!
