Superior Downtown Farmers Market Nearing End of Season

SUPERIOR, Wis. — As the seasons change, so does the produce at local farmers markets. One location in Superior is nearing the end of its season.

The Superior Downtown Farmers Market on Banks Avenue has a wide variety to choose from. That includes different types of squash, tomatoes, apples, and baked goods. One local says she comes to the market all the time and grabs as many vegetables as she can.

“You know your grocery stores are fine but there’s nothing like this produce. There’s always a better flavor, it’s fresh, and I guess I like supporting the farmers in our local area,” said Rachel Kostelic, Superior resident.

The last day to check out the Superior Downtown Farmers Market is October 30th.
