Duluth Public Library Hosts Mini Monster Mash

DULUTH, Minn. — The Duluth Public Library hosted a ghoulish party on Thursday.

The Mini Monster Mash focuses on kids ages 5 and under. The program includes a dance party, decorating hats and jack-o-lanterns and fun games. But the best part is a costume parade for the young ones to show off their costume and go trick or treating around the library. This is the second time the library has hosted this event.

“It’s kind of nice cause it’s while all the older kids are doing their Halloween parties at school and going trick or treating later. It’s nice for this age group where they’re younger, and especially on a cold night like tonight they might not make it out to trick or treat. They can do a little something fun in the morning,” said Carmella Hatch, Early Literacy Coordinator.

Coming up in November for the Duluth Library is a program called, Wiggles for Littles. That will have a dinosaur theme and different activities for the young ones.
