Monday Morning Northland Forecast: 11/4/2024

Foggy Monday Forecast

We start this week back on Central Standard Time. So, that’s one change we have to factor into our Monday morning. And, on top of that, we also have a Dense Fog Advisory in effect til 10am today. As if Mondays weren’t enough of a challenge. A low pressure system in southern Minnesota is moving north this morning, bringing a large area of rain along with it. We will have a 50%-60% chance for showers today, as that low moves right over the top of us, as we head toward midday. We will have winds from the SE shift to the W and increase up to 20mph this afternoon. So, it will definitely be kind of a foggy, grey, wet and windy day. Our high today will be in the low 50s, which is about 10 degrees above average. Tonight, we will drop down to the upper 30s for a low temp. Tomorrow will be a similar kind of day, with a 60% chance for rain. The big difference will be it will be much cooler, with a high about 42 degrees. The average high for tomorrow is 43 degrees, so we will be right on target.

Beginning Wednesday, things brighten up considerably, as high pressure moves in for the rest of the workweek. Wednesday thru Friday will be mostly sunny and dry, with highs from 48 to 52 degrees, and lows in the 30s. While the weekend is a ways away, right now it is looking to be party sunny, with a chance for rain each day, with highs around 50.

And for you snow lovers, I don’t see any fluffy, white stuff in the forecast for the next 10 days. That can always change, and I will let you know if it does. Have a great Monday!
