Record Breaking Grandma’s Marathon Registration
DULUTH, Minn. — Grandma’s Marathon has reached full capacity Wednesday, Nov 6, breaking the organization’s previous earliest sellout record.
That previous record was set in 2016, when registration reached capacity on December, 31. Now, that record being broke by nearly two months.
Organizers expect more than 22,000 people to be signed up for one of the weekend’s three events, including the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and William A. Irvin 5k, which were sold out within days after registration opened.
