Coffee Conversation: Festival of Trees Returns to Duluth for Holiday Shopping
DULUTH, MN – The Junior League of Duluth is gearing up for its annual Festival of Trees, an arts, crafts, and gifts show set for this weekend at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).
Junior League of Duluth President Lauren Farden and Director of Community Patty Salo Downs were on the morning newscast Thursday to talk about the purpose of this event.
The event, which has grown into one of the city’s largest “pop-up” shopping experiences, will take place on Saturday, November 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
While the shopping experience is the main draw, the event also serves as a fundraiser to support the Junior League of Duluth’s mission to empower women and make a positive impact on the community through volunteerism and leadership training.
Admission is $7 on Saturday and $5 on Sunday, with free entry for kids 12 and under. Attendees can also receive $1 off admission with a donation of non-perishable food items, which will be donated to a local food bank.
Parking at the DECC is $10 per vehicle.
