Tuesday Morning Northland Forecast: 11/19/2024

Happy Tuesday morning, Northland! The rain and wind moved into the area yesterday evening and continues into this morning but will subside as we move into the afternoon. So far, we have seen over an inch of rain in Duluth and already close to an inch in Grand Marais, with multiple recordings of wind gusts of around and over 50 mph along the North Shore. As we move later into the day, the rain will move off to the north, affecting those along the north shore most prominently, and the winds that we have been seeing out of the east will decrease and shift to be out of the southwest. As we move into the overnight, expect it to be breezy and significant cloud cover. Today’s high will be 50 with a low of 29.

Tomorrow will be a good bit colder than it has been the past few days, with a high of 35 and a low of 28. It will be mostly cloudy tomorrow with a small chance of snowfall for some of us, but it is not expected to be much of note. It will continue to be breezy, with winds out of the southwest. Going into Thursday, the winds will continue to shift clockwise, being out of the northwest when Thursday comes around.

Looking into the future, after a long stretch of mostly mild temperatures for this time of year, the temperatures look to become more seasonably average as we move into next week. Even with the rain and wind moving out, still be prepped for the weather today, and I wish you a great Tuesday morning!
