16th Annual Give to the Max Day
DULUTH, Minn.– Today is Give to the Max Day, a day to highlight, and give it your all to local nonprofits.
For 16 years now, Give to the Max Day has helped improve the quality of life of local communities.
To make that happen, donations are made for Duluth nonprofits.
Last year, Give to the Max raised 34.2 million dollars for around 6,000 organizations.
For this year, Minnesota has 56-hundred businesses participating.
One of those businesses being the Duluth Children’s Museum, who will be using the profit to make sure membership passes become more accessible.
“We really dedicated these funds for our access programs. So, we have a program called
‘Discovery for All’ and it’s really a way to give free memberships to families who need it the most in our community. And it also helps us reinvest in our facility,” said Drew Jensen, Executive Director for the Duluth Children’s Musem.
