AGO Brien Starts Remodel of Office with Wall Smashing Ceremony

DULUTH, Minn. — A Duluth-based plumbing and heating company is remodeling their office after 90 years.

AGO Brien started the reconstruction with what they call a wall smashing ceremony. The remodel of the 1934 office has been in the works for over a year now. The new space will include sound-proofing walls, a new training facility, and a more efficient layout to accommodate the growing company. The President of the company says he wanted his crew to have fun with the remodel because to him–work culture is everything.

“I think we find we’re able to afford something like this because we have a good time at work, because we share a laugh, because people want to be here, exchange jokes. You know do some tongue and cheek things like that and I feel we get a lot more out of our team and people want to be here. If you’re going to devote your life to doing something why not love it at the same time?” said Chris Adatte, President of AGO Brien.

AGO Brien will stay open during construction and will have a temporary office. The grand opening is scheduled for April of 2025.
