UWS Men’s Soccer NCAA Tournament Run Ends at Sweet Sixteen

The Jackets fell to the Mammoths 3-2 in double overtime, ending their season at the Sweet Sixteen. 

EAU CLAIRE, Wis.- The UW-Superior men’s soccer team made their first Sweet Sixteen appearance in program history on Saturday.

UW-Superior faced Amherst with a trip to the Elite Eight on the line.

The Yellowjackets went back and forth with the Mammoths ending regulation 2-2.

The Jackets fell to the Mammoths 3-2 in double overtime, ending their season at the Sweet Sixteen.

Scoring for the Yellowjackets was Josh Bellamy and Aaron Shartin-Folkert.

UWS finished the year 18-4-3 on the year.
