Fundraiser Helps Local Musician Recovering From Extensive Surgeries
DULUTH, Minn. — Clyde Iron Works was filled with the buzzing sounds of community this weekend.
It was all for the Mula$ for Marv Fundraiser. Marv is a drummer known by the people of the Northland for his continued community engagement and now the gesture is being returned as Mula$ for Marv hopes to raise enough money to pay for extensive surgeries that Marv had to receive due to an aortic aneurysm.
“When we heard that something was the matter with Marvin, the roster was filled up in 15 minutes,” said Israel Malachi, organizer. “I feel like I was finally able to do something nice for Marvin after all of the great things he’s done for me over the years, and that is what today is all about.”
You can find Mula$ for Marv on GoFundMe if you would like to make a donation.
